The biggest freedom we can give ourselves is to dream through our fears.

“Failure is not an option.”

For so long, Lauren believed that to achieve success, you couldn’t let others see you fail. I was terrified by the possibility of failing. So I chose to avoid it…by not trying. I played it safe for way too long and living a “fine” life eventually grew old. I’m now on a mission to share what I’ve learned, failures and all, to inspire others to overcome their fear of failure in pursuit of the goals and life they dream of.

Hi, I’m Lauren!

I'm Lauren Beane and I help women take the leap and believe they are ready enough by offering tools, coaching, and my personal stories so they can embrace and own their unique talents.

I have always considered myself a big dreamer and an entrepreneur at heart. Growing up, I started or dreamt up over a dozen businesses when I wasn’t preoccupied with school or dance practice. From designing flyers for dog walking services at age 12 to having my lemonade stand featured on the local news, I never worried about having all the answers-- I just acted on my dreams and figured things out as I went along. But as I grew older and began my career in corporate America, a lot of those dreams got pushed to the back burner. I felt like I couldn’t act on an idea unless I felt like I had all the answers, knew every turn, and created a roadmap from start to finish.

I wouldn’t apply to a job unless I had every qualification. I would be the last to raise my hand for a new opportunity. I wouldn’t start that dream business because I wasn’t sure if it would flourish or flop.

But in March 2020, life slowed down and I grew tired of waiting until I felt ‘ready enough’ to pursue my goals. After taking a huge leap and launching the consulting and speaking business that I had always dreamed of, I'm now on a mission to empower other women to feel they are ready enough (even with only 50% of the answers) and live out the life they deserve. Let’s stop waiting until that perfect moment to reach our goals. Let’s act now, and believe we are ready enough.

My motto is and always will be

The difference between a dream and a success story is that single pivotal moment where you decide to go for it.

The professional stuff

  • Twenty years ago, I fell in love with being on a stage. Six years ago, I fell in love with speaking. Now, I love realizing both of those dreams by sharing my experiences with others to help them overcome the fear of failure.

  • I have a passion for marketing. Whether it’s talking about the latest brand campaign or helping others develop their own brand, I love seeing the transformation that’s possible when we have a compelling story to tell.

The fun stuff

  • I’m a dog mom to a very spoiled Boston Terrier, Zoey.

  • I’m married to my high school sweetheart. I like to think my Aeropostale tees and Toms shoes won him over. (If you know, you know).

  • I am OBSESSED with all things Trader Joe’s. Don’t get me started on pumpkin or peppermint season.

  • I’m a bit of a planner nerd. Nothing makes me happier than a fresh planner to start off the year (and some fun colorful pens).

  • I’m convinced that I can solve any crime just by listening to a 45-minute podcast about it.
